Sometimes I feel We can't imagine our Life without nature's participation.We are fortunate enough to have such a country where you will feel the essence of nature's creations.Really India is a dream place where we get diversity in every aspect.Today I am going to introduce you with Sikkim, a state of North East having full of natural beauty.
INTRODUCTION  















Sikkim is a state in North East India bordered by Nepal in the West ,Tibet in the North,Bhutan in the East and West Bengal in the South.It became a part of India in 1975 having fascinating landscape.Gangtok is its capital.It is also located close to India's Silliguri corridor near Bangladesh.The Tibetian  name of Sikkim is Drenjong means valley of Rice.

CLIMATE
Sikkim experiences a temperate climate mostly in populated or inhabited regions.It's climate ranges from Sub tropical in the South to tundra in the North.
MOUNTAINS
There is wide range of mountains in Sikkim. The highest mountain peak in India is Kanchenjunga(8586m).The other mountains are Mt. pandim,Siniolchu,Talung,Rathong etc.
PEOPLE
Sikkim is a home of majority of ethnic Nepalis,Kirati,Chettri,Gurung,Tamang,Damai,Sherpa etc.The original inhabitants of Sikkim 
are The Lepchas.Bhutias are of Tibet origin.Nepalese came after Lepchas & Bhutias.
The total population of Sikkim is 6.19lakhs.
LANGUAGE
The main languages of Sikkim are Nepali,Bhoti
a and Lepcha.Nepali is spoken in majority. The total languages are 11 in figures.
Religion
Majority of people follow Hinduism but it preserves deep root of Buddhism at present.You can see many Buddhist monestries.Sikkimese are mostly engaged in business and Government Service.Agricultue is the primary occupation of the inhabitants.
TOURIST SITES
Sikkim is full of fascinating tourist sites.You 
can visit Gangtok,Yuksom,Tsomgo Lake,Nathul
a pass,Pelling,Lachung,Ravangla,Rumtek Monastery.Gangtok is a place of tradition culture and modern lifestyles.Pelling is the pride of Sikkim tourism.It is full of stunning serpentine rivulets, greenery,mountain ranges and so many trekking routes.Pelling offers  stunning view of Kanchenjunga.
Rumtek Monastery: It is one of the most largest
monastery in Sikkim and also known as Dharm
a chakra centre.It is around 30kms from Gangtok.
Lachung: It is a high altitude village of Tibetian and Bhutia people in North Sikkim.You can see snowfall here.
